Spetses Island Greece is the most remote of the Greek Argo Saronic islands. Spetses is an attractive pine-clad island that is not huge, but big enough to offer a range of activities to keep everyone happy. Secluded, hidden coves with sparkling clear seas or beaches close to waterfront hotels and pensions; lots of tavernas to choose from with friendly service and traditional hospitality.

Only 2.5 - 3.5 hours from Piraeus by Flying Dolphin or Euroseas' Eurofast Catamaran; 4.5 hours by large ferry; by car, you can drive through the Peloponnese to Kosta (approximately 2 hours from the airport, on the new motorway) leave your car at the secure car park for €4 per day and take the 15 minute car ferry trip to Spetses. Cars in Spetses town are banned and those on the island are limited to residents only who can only use them out of town and with a permit.
