Each community magazine covers a specific geographical area and can be anywhere in the world so long as we have a Local Editor in place who is prepared to be "our local in the know" and run the local site in cooperation with us.

Our aim is to make each local site as comprehensive as possible, including a basic FREE entry for all businesses and organisations within the community, along with interesting background information plus local colour in the form of news, reviews, features, articles, points of view, interviews, diary dates and lots of images. We actively encourage participation in discussion forums from locals and visitors alike.

The local sites are funded by advertising and nearly all of our advertisers are smaller independent local businesses. LITKO and it's associated local sites are not funded by grants or local authorities, nor are we part of a large media group. We are an independent commercial enterprise.

Our Local Editors are local people who like to work independently but with the backing of a team and want to run a site in cooperation with us for their community. LITKO provides the system and all on-going development as well as training and support for local sites. The Local Editor provides the content and the local knowledge in exchange for a generous share of the revenue. We are actively seeking new Local Editors.
