accommodation in august part 2

hello all,

i found a cheep room in the old harbour for august( villa elena). It will be my first time at spetses so i wanted to ask if the location of the room is ok? How far are the beaches are? Is it possible to rent motorbikes? or only bicycles? How much they cost circa per day in august?

 

i`m thinking to come by car to kostas and than taking the 20 minutes boat. do you have any timetables or better what time the last boat leaves from kosta? How long is the way from the airport to kosta?

The old harbour can be quite

The old harbour can be quite noisy at nights but is very picturesque. Motorbike hire on the island is possible but I do not recall one in the old harbour. The ferry from Kosta only runs a couple of times a day but there are plenty of caiques making the journey across or even a water taxi.
