Where do you live on Spetses? With family, animals or alone? Palio Limani (old harbour) with my mother and my 6 cats. 

Present or past occupation: Builder 

Where are you to be found most of the time? At work in the mornings. In the afternoons, I spend time at home doing odd jobs around the house, or down at my brothers’ boatyard looking after the hens that we keep there. 

Which Spetses beach do you prefer? I love all the beaches on the island. 

What's your favourite view of Spetses? From my house looking across the old harbour, to the mainland (Peloponnese) and the island of Hydra beyond. 

Which time of year or season best suits you on Spetses - why? The spring, as I love it when the days start to get longer, lighter and warmer. 

Where would you choose to live if not Spetses? In Crete - as I spent a summer there working and made lots of friends. 

If you could start your life again, what career would you choose? It would be a fisherman - in Spetses! 

Which country of those you have visited, impressed you the most (other than Greece!)? Australia - either in Sydney or Melbourne. Probably Melbourne as there are a lot of Greeks there. I loved the Australian climate and the outdoor life. 

Do you have any hobbies/pastimes? Fishing - with a rod off the end of the jetty. Also I spend a lot of free time swimming. 

What's your favourite traditional Greek dish? Fish soup - with a few glasses of wine… 

Who would you choose to headline the next Armata celebrations in 2006? Konitopoulou - she sings wonderful island songs. 

Where would you take a friend on a one day visit to Spetses? A slow walk all round the old harbour and then down to Ayia Marina. 

What, in your view, is the best part about life on Spetses? I love the sun, the sea and the summer months here, when the tourists visit the island. I could never live in a city - Spetses is where I want to be…
