It was wonderful weather for the celebration of Ayios Yiorgios at the lovely church of Zogheria. People were pic-nicing around the bay, but the main party was outside the church.

The church was beautifully decorated and food and wine was supplied in quantity by Panayiotis Matheos who has the small "open all hours" supermarket near the Dapia. Singing along with bazooki and guitar

There was music supplied by a bazooki player and guitar by Simos and everyone enjoyed hours of singing all the old, much loved songs...and dancing too! Dancing at Zogheria

The star of the party for me, was an 86 year old gentleman who sang and drank, along with all the other old hands and was one of the last to leave!
