Where do you live on Spetses? With family, animals or alone: In Kounoupitsa at the Economou Mansion with my wife Aline, son Dimitris our ginger and white cat called Scruffy. 

Present or past occupation: Owner of The Yachting Club Travel Office and hotel owner (Yachting Club Inn/Economou Mansion). 

Where are you to be found most of the time? At the Yachting Club Travel Office on the Dapia. 

Which Spetses beach do you prefer? Zogheria - for its beautiful surroundings and good food at the beach taverna. 

What's your favourite view of Spetses? The mega sized yachts on the Possidonian jetty, particularly at sunset. 

Which time of year or season best suits you on Spetses - why? September. The light is excellent - and the days are fresh and clear and the colours are bright and sharp. 

Where would you choose to live if not Spetses? London. This is where I studied and then met my wife, Aline. I have the happiest memories! 

If you could start your life again, what career would you choose? Architect or a captain of a sailing boat. 

Which country of those you have visited, impressed you the most (other than Greece!)? U.S.A - what impressed me most was the size of everything - from huge shopping malls to vast parking lots. A total contrast to Europe. 

Do you have any hobbies/pastimes? Water skiing, fishing, sailing - in fact any water based activity. 

What's your favourite traditional Greek dish? Meat balls and whitebait are two of my favourites. 

Who would you choose to headline the next Armata celebrations in 2005? Elena Paparizou ( Eurovision Song Contest winner 2005) who is a personal friend of mine and has stayed with us at the Economou Mansion. 

Where would you take a friend on a one day visit to Spetses? Round the island by boat. 

What, in your view, is the best part about life on Spetses? Definitely living in a safe environment with clean, fresh air and no pollution.
