This brand new house is superbly situated on a small path overlooking the picturesque old harbour. Kyparissi’s greatest feature, is the outdoor viewing The top floor living room, opens to a balcony with a glorious sight- a calm, bright blue sea with water taxis and speed boats zipping across the harbour bay and yachts and cruisers lazily drifting in to drop anchor. A large ground floor open veranda, also boasts marvellous views. Boats of all shapes, sizes and colours are moored below and small boatyards line the old harbour path, where fishing boats are still built in the traditional way.

Here, breakfast, lunch or evening meal can be enjoyed on a slatted wooden table with six matching deck-style chairs, under the shade of a large white umbrella. A lone cypress tree (‘Kyparissi’ in Greek) which lends its name to the house, stands majestically to attention, creating a unique landmark. Alternatively, also on the top floor, there is a small outside veranda by the front door, which is shaded by a wooden pergola. A comfortable set of garden bamboo sofas, tastefully covered in white canvas, make relaxing for a morning coffee - a cool and elegant affair.

The interior is simple, yet stylish. The large open ceiling has been constructed in traditional island pine and gives a spacious feel. The furniture is a mix of wood and banana bamboo. The dining room area includes a mini-bar (with full bottles!) and T.V (satellite) with DVD player. The kitchen is practical and attractive - with numerous powder blue cupboards containing full sets of casseroles, saucepans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. It is fully equipped with a brand new cooker/oven, large fridge freezer, dish washer, modern stainless steel kettle and coffee machine.

There are 3 bedrooms downstairs: The master bedroom has dbl bed/ en-suite bathroom/shwr. Balcony doors lead to the large, ground floor veranda. The 2nd bedroom is twin-bedded. The 3rd bedroom has a sofa bed for 2 persons or can be used as a small living room/ study (with ceiling fan). There is a utility room with outside drying area. All other rooms have A/C units and plenty of wardrobe space. The main bathroom is luxurious, with a half bath/shwr. There are fresh changes of sheets and towels in all bedroom cupboards and hairdryers in each room. Spotlessly clean and great attention to detail.
