Mexis Studios are simple, clean and extremely well cared for. Open all year round and situated right behind Spetses town and its beach of Ayios Mamas. The perfect location for those who like to be central There are 4 studios, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. Guests are well catered for as each 2 bedded studio is air conditioned and contains cooking facilities, fridge, hairdryer and TV. A kettle and iron are also supplied - these are welcome extras and not usually to be found in simple studios in Greece. There is also plenty of wardrobe space, so no need to live out of your suitcase for 2 weeks!

Each studio commands a different view. Preferences can be expressed when making enquiries or booking. No.1 is upstairs and north-facing with sea view. No.2 is upstairs and south-facing with view of Spetses’ rooftops and pine clad hills. No.3 is downstairs with private veranda and small B.B.Q.( Extra bed can be provided on request). No.4 is downstairs opens out on to pleasant communal garden, where there is a barbeque and chairs and tables are strategically placed to make use of every shady corner.The garden , although not huge, is extremely inviting. It is quite literally bursting with life!

Great banana trees sway in the summer breeze, providing natural shade. Mandarin and lemon trees line the front of the studios, heavy with fruit in the winter months. The huge palm tree on one side, not only provides a home for the numerous dates it grows, but for two very rare parakeets too. They can be spotted now and again - brilliant flashes of bright green and yellow -darting backwards and forwards feasting on various seasonal delights. The rest of the garden is filled with young olive trees, pomegranates, yukka plants and even a small grapefruit tree.

Mexis studios are a family run business and Susan, who is English, is friendly and helpful and ensures that every guest is made comfortable. The studios are cleaned every other day with sheet change too. Hand and bath towels are provided, inc. a fresh pile of extras if needed, in the hall. A selection of toiletries in each bathroom, inc. shower gel, shampoo and hand cream also give an added welcome touch. Open all year round. In the winter months Susan provides warm duvets for the beds and the air conditioning doubles up as heating. English speaking babysitting service available.
