I worked on Spetses for Taki in 1981. My cousin Jody was also on the Island with me. I worked at the Myrtoon Hotel doing both reception work and waitressing and also worked at Capriccios at night. Met lots of lovely people. Remember the old man Mikalis who worked in the Myrtoon Hotel and who managed to teach me enough Greek to get by. Lived in a villa a bit out of town and our landlady was a nightmare. She lived upstairs with her family and we lived downstairs. She turned the water off at every opportunity and we had to go to other villas rented by Taki to have showers. Shared villa with two lovely guys called Neil and Brian, would love to know what became of them, did keep in touch for awhile after getting back to UK but lost contact unfortunately. Met some great people from so many different parts of the world. I am married and have an 18 year old daughter called Katharyn.
