It stands to reason that when surrounded by sparkling, turquoise, clear waters on blisteringly hot summer days, that much of the recreation available on Spetses involves getting wet!

The beaches on Spetses are as diverse as the vegetation, ranging from large pebbles at Kaiki Beach on the northern side of the island, to the golden sands of Paraskevi Beach on the south coast. In recent years the owners of some of the beach-side businesses have imported sand from elsewhere, thereby making what used to be just decent beaches into fun (for the kids) and comfortable (for adults) places to spend the summer.
