Rosalind Forster’s work has been frequently exhibited in England as well as in Australia and Greece. She has been living and working on the Greek island of  Spetses for 8 months of the year, since 1989. This is when she met her husband, whilst painting a commission for a holiday company, on the island. The rest of the year is spent in Derbyshire, where she has her printmaking workshop.

Rosalind's watercolours of detailed and intricate sunlit still lives often use favourite objects, such as jugs, lace and shells. Her English subjects are more often commissioned famous gardens, such as Chatsworth, houses and interiors.Her linocuts are produced using the reduction method from one piece of lino, printing up to 16 colours; from studies of sunlit doorways, olive trees and still lives of Spetses Island Greece. She now has a large portfolio of prints.

In 1994 ROSALIND FORSTER was commissioned to produce paintings and linocuts for P&O’s superliner, ‘The Oriana’ and the cruise ship ‘Minerva’. She took part in the prestigious exhibition ‘British Artists in Greece’ in Athens in 1995. Also, in the British Gallery in Greece, opened by the British ambassador in 1998. Her work has appeared in journals, such as The Artist and International Artist, Ideal Home and Period Living.

In Spetses, Ms Forster's work will be exibited from April 2008 in 'Maistrali' (Ayios Mamas). In Athens, Rosalind is represented by the Jill Yakas Gallery in Kifisia http://www.yakas.com/ and in the U.K by The Little London Gallery in Derbyshire. Her work is displayed in museums and City Council collections in the UK and Australia and private collections worldwide. Prices for commissioned paintings range from €450 - €1000 depending on size and complexity. Linocuts are €120 (90 UK pounds).
