I am hoping that someone may be able to advise on how to go about doing family history research in Spetses I have family that was from Spetses and I am trying to locate any and all information on them.  I am trying to trace our lines to see if we have any living family in Greece as well as learn more about our past.  I am unsure how to proceed as I have only a few names and a few dates.  I only speak and write English does this mean I will not be able to proceed?

I have been asked by a contact of mine about finding a Greek speaking girl to look after three children in London.
 
Here are the requirements that were sent to me:

• she must have some years experience in child care and references along with her beautifully fluent Greek, she must also have a good command of spoken English.
• she must have a sense of humour and fun while juggling three children (Constantine, age 7, Aleco, age 5 and Diana 2) and two flat coated retrievers.
• she must also be flexible and would be happy to travel during the school holidays and be prepared to join and live in a happy and chaotic family in the middle of the hussle and bussle of London life.  The family is based in Fulham.
• It would be an added bonus if she were able to drive and/or cook and the salary would be increased according to these extra qualifications.

The wages would be around € 400 - € 450 per week, if you know of anyone.  It can be +/- depending on her experience, ability to drive and ability to cook.

Hello, my name is kurt and i've been living on spetses since the end of
february.  i am working in the old harbor, and i am slowly learning greek.
I speak english fluently and am looking for someone with whom to have
greek only conversations a couple times a week.  We could also switch and
speak only english if this person would like to improve his english.  Do

We are going to visit Spetses for a week from the 1st of October and hope we will see friends from many years ago. In the "70's I was a DJ in the Karnayo disco. In the "80's me and my wife had a small snack bar named Mik Mak on the Daphia.

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I used to live on Spetses with my family from around 1992-1996 My father was known as The Godfather (Nigel) and used to work in BJs. I wish to know if anyone remembers us? Although I am sure it has changed a lot.

Just to advise all you great people my wife and I are coming to your great island on August 19,2007, we are really looking forward to meeting the people of the community which I read about in the COMMUNITY CLOSE UP .There are so many great people there that we read about , so when we arrive and visit some of you dont be surprised if we announce our presence in your bar or hotel or petro station.
