2007 Babylonia - Performance at Anargyrios College 01 August

Last night at the Anargyrios College amphitheatre up in the hills, the Greek comedy - Babylonia -  was played to a packed audience. It was a pleasure to see the amphitheatre so full, and with so many locals.


2007 Performance: Evenings of poetry on Spetses

The Athens Centre and the Muses’ Workshop present: Summer Poetry Evenings on Spetses, 2007.

All readings take place in Kounoupitsa neighborhood, at 8pm, unless otherwise indicated, and are free and open to the public. Wine and conversation follows events. For more info, please call 210 701-5242 / 210 701-2268.


2007 Rosalind Forster - A Retrospective Exhibition.

28 July '07 - 08 September '07. Rosalind Forster has the pleasure of inviting you to her retrospective exhibition - 30 Years of Printmaking. Limited edition prints of Derbyshire, Cornwall, Cornwall, Australia and Greece. Rare and last available copies from the artist's own collection will be available.


2008 2nd Choir Festival of Spetses

On the 15th March - an excellent festival this year, with choirs from various towns in Greece, including Voula and Piraeus. All of the ensembles sang beautifully, with the host choir of Spetses rounding off the programme.


2008 Eleni Alifarmaki Exhibition in September

Local artist, Eleni Alifarmaki holds another exhibiton this summer in Spetses, this time at Restaurant Orloff in the Old Harbour (Palio Limani).


2008 Ros Forster Exhibition December 6th and 7th

Rosalind Forster will be holding her annual exhibition in Derbyshire where she will be showing new linocuts and watercolour lanscapes of both Greece and Derbyshire. New greetings cards will be available. Josie Walter will be showing her colourful earthenware pottery with her. It is a very enjoyable and social event and she hopes to see many familar faces and new aquaintances there. Anyone who has visited Spetses will find many happy reminders of the beauty of the island in her work.
