Whereabouts do you live on Spetses? In the area of Ayia Marina, right above the Ayia Marina petrol station. The rest of my family live in a larger house behind the petrol station.

What is your occupation? Our family own the Ayia Marina petrol station. We also have a little shop attached with fresh sandwiches made every day and confectionary and cigarettes.

Why are you living on Spetses? I was born on the island of Spetses.

Where are you to be found most of the time? Mostly in our petrol station, as we are open all day!

Please choose cat or dog: Definitely dog. We have five at home, two of which are French spaniels.

Which Spetses beach do you prefer? Ayia Paraskevi.

What's your favourite view of Spetses? From Profitis Elias, the church on the highest point of the island. Here I love the view across to the mainland and the island of Hydra.

Which football team do you support? Olympiakos.

Which time of year or season best suits you on Spetses - why? May - when the weather is getting warmer and the island is looking bright and colourful.

Do you have any hobbies/pastimes? Mountain biking and swimming. I go for a long cycle ride each day.

What's your favourite traditional Greek dish? Fresh fish with salad.

Who would you choose to headline the next Armata celebrations? Yiannis Parios, my favourite singer.

Where would you take a friend on a one day visit to Spetses? Round the island on bicycles.

What, in your view, is the best part about life on Spetses? The best part of life on the island, is the fact that it is a totally safe place to live. I also love the peace and quiet in the winter months.
