Villa Elena sits at the top of a small winding path, just 100 metres above the heart of the old harbour.The view from the front balconies is spectacular - colourful rooftops in the foreground, boats cruising backwards and forwards across the large mouth of the harbour, and the Spetses lighthouse beyond There are pink and purple bougainvillaea surrounding the building and the little path leading down to the old harbour is also brightly decorated with colourful flowers. This makes for a picturesque 2 minute walk down to the waters’ edge.

It is a typical Greek pension, with a mix of 7 twin and double rooms. Each room is upstairs and has air conditioning, TV, fridge, private bathroom with shower and a small balcony. The rooms with side balconies have sea and hillside views and all rooms are bright, sunny and comfortable. There is a small communal room with balcony in the entrance and the pension has an extremely friendly atmosphere.

Downstairs there is an apartment for rent for 4 persons, with two bedrooms (1 twin/1 double) and a small kitchen and living room area, with fridge and TV. There is no air conditioning, but the apartment is adequately cool, due to the summer breeze. There is a large sea facing front veranda.

Plenty of good restaurants and bars are to be found within walking distance. There is also a small track leading on to the back road with another 2 minute walk to a local supermarket and a 10-15 minute walk to town.
