The Villa Marina is a traditional house with rooms for rent, conveniently located in the centre of the island. Turning left out of the port, it is just 200 metres along the coastal road. It has just recently been tastefully renovated and is now fully open for business and ready to welcome all visitors.
All rooms are on the first and second floor and are clean, comfortable and decorated in simple, yet stylish Greek style. Both double rooms and triple rooms have the following: Bath, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, wireless internet, view gardens, sea view and shared kitchen. There is also a daily maid service. The cobbled courtyard and a garden full of flowers co-exist harmoniously, which makes relaxation both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
The beach of Ayios Mamas is a mere 40 metres away from Villa Marina, so it makes perfect sense for you first swim. Ayios Mamas is also the starting point of the regular bus service that will take you to the beaches of Ayia Marina, Xylokeriza, Ayia Anargyri and Ayia Paraskevi on the other side of the island. Close to Villa Marina there is also a very conveniently located mini market with a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. There is also a bakery just over the bridge, with excellent bread and mouth watering daily cooked pies and biscuits.
The pedestrian shopping street will lead you to the historic Dapia which is the main focal point of the island where most people meet for drinks. There are also many good restaurants, tavernas, cafes and bars within easy walking distance along the way.Villa Marina is also a 10 minute walk to the old port (Palio Limani) where there are also many restaurants and bars and some very lively nightclubs. The old harbour is both traditional and elegant and the cosmopolitan lifestyle and entertainment enjoyed there is what Spetses island is famed for.
